Any suggestions on diet of patients with creatinine

Renal failure has become a health issue of increasing concern worldwide. Patients with kidney failure usually associated with high levels of creatinine. In this circumstance, their habit of daily diet greatly influences renal function. So what should they eat in the daily lives of preventing the disease from progressing?
First principle is low salt diet.
Reduce your intake of salt. Normally, patients suffered from hypertension or swelling should be strictly limited their intake of sodium in order not to increase further pressure on renal function. If only they accompany elevated creatinine, but no swelling or oliguria, low-salt diet should be emphasized. If severe swelling, high blood pressure or heart failure, admission to low-salt should be limited.
The second is to control the amount of intake of protein.
Patients with kidney failure do not have the luxury living. Their kidneys try to filter liquids, even in their best days. In the stage of renal failure, patients are easy to show azotemia, to monitor renal function continued to worsen, the intake of protein should be strictly controlled, choose a diet rich in protein of good quality.
Reduce your intake of alcohol and quit smoking.
The excessive alcohol intake can cause serious kidney damage and lead to a tendency to kidney failure. More alcohol can damage your blood vessels, and stimulate nephrosclerosis. That's why you have a normal function, or with a high creatinine, stop smoking or reduce your intake of alcohol is good for you.
Furthermore, patients with kidney failure with high creatinine should take foods rich in vitamin A, B2 and C, low in phosphorus and potassium. These suggestions above are just for reference, you'd better talk to your doctor and dietitian for proper diet. Of course I am very happy to help and offer suggestions above, if there are problems of high creatinine you care about.
